Job Overview

We are currently hiring Project Architects for our Multifamily Studio in Charlotte, NC and Richmond, VA.

The ideal candidate should understand the importance of client confidence/satisfaction for repeat business and be able to work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Produce Project documents in Revit
  • Respond to client’s questions and requests in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with MEP and structural consultants

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of architectural experience in a production environment
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited School of Architecture
  • Registered Architect or on track to become licensed
  • Computer skills must include Revit proficiency (3 years of Revit experience minimum)
  • Knowledge of effort and time require to produce drawings for presentation, zoning, and contract documents
  • Passion for building design
  • Strong communication skills in both verbal and written form
  • Must exhibit good inter-personal skills and diplomacy
  • Rendering ability from Revit is a major plus
  • Applied understanding of building systems and costs
  • Understanding of building and accessibility codes
  • Ability to solve technical issues

Job Overview

We are currently hiring a Project Architect for our Higher Education Studio in our Richmond, VA office. The selected candidate will be responsible for all aspects of high-profile and large-complex higher education projects. This position has the potential for growth into leadership roles in the market sector across the region.

The selected candidate will be architecturally licensed, have 6-10+ years architecture experience and have worked on a variety of architectural project types. Excellent client & consultant relationship management and coordination skills are required.

The ideal candidate will be a great communicator, team builder, team player, and motivator. Candidates should have a positive attitude. We are looking for someone who enjoys good work and is fun to work with.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of projects, including project set-up, programming, design, documentation, and construction administration.
  • Ability to produce a fully coordinate set of construction drawings.
  • Coordinate internal and external consultants and team members.
  • Be client-focused, relationship driven, and work with the client’s best interest in mind.
  • Be a self-starter and take initiative in both executing projects and pursuing new opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 6 to 10+ years of architecture experience.
  • Registered Architect.
  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Architecture.
  • Client relationship management and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in BIM (Autodesk Revit).
