2022 Scholarship Recipient Announced
AIA Richmond is proud to announce that Sophia Aprahamian is the recipient of the 2022 scholarship in the amount of $5,000. Sophie will be attending Virginia Tech’s School of Architecture + Design as a first-year student in the fall of 2022.
Students from the AIA Richmond service area who have been accepted into an accredited architecture program are eligible.
AIA Richmond’s scholarship program is funded in part by proceeds from programming, generous support from AIA National’s component scholarship program, and donations from individuals and firms.
AIA Richmond thanks the Allied Member and Golf committees for organizing the Annual Sporting Clay Shoot and Golf Social. It is through events like these that the K–12 Committee and Board have been able to increase the annual scholarship award and begin building a fund to support more substantial scholarships in the future.
