Capital Outlay Program Manager – Virginia Community College System

The Virginia Community College System (VCCS) seeks a highly motivated individual for the position of Capital Outlay Program Manager at our System Office located in the beautiful Arboretum Business Park off the Midlothian Turnpike in Richmond, Virginia. This position provides project management and administration services for the capital outlay, maintenance reserve and non-capital construction projects at assigned community colleges and administers the VCCS Facility Inventory Condition Assessment Program. Qualifications
To accomplish the above, qualified candidates must have a combination of education and experience that allows successful performance of the required duties: experience in capital outlay and construction project management; administration of contracts for architectural and engineering design; knowledge of conducting facility condition assessments; and experience with computer software systems. Certification as a VCCO or the ability to gain certification within six months of obtaining the position. Driver’s License and ability to operate a state vehicle or rental vehicle.
